Play an Individual Game
Try to get your opposition down to just one poker online player per hand whenever possible. The fewer players you’re up against in any given hand, the better the odds are that your hand will end up being the best one, so unless you’ve got the nuts, try to minimize the number of opponents you have to face.
Facing just one guy at Everest is useful in lots of ways; not only is the potential value of your hand better when you’re only facing one or two guys, but you’re facing fewer playing styles as well. Think about it-if you’re in a hand with two players of widely varying poker online styles, you’re going to want to play them in widely different ways. A more timid player can be more susceptible to a bluff, while a calling station is completely impervious to bluffing attempts. If you’re in a hand against both of them, playing aggressively will probably chase out one of them but have little effect on the other one.
If you’re going to play a hand, try to narrow the competition as well as you can by going in with a bet rather than limping in, and keep an eye on who’s in the game with you.
